I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
